Locks: Grand Union Canal - Welford Arm

The Welford Arm connects Welford to Welford Junction on the Grand Union canal.  It is part of the Grand Union Canal (Leicester section) and takes about 50 Minutes to reach the end. The River Avon rises nearby at Naseby.

The Welford arm was reopened in 1969 having been derelict for many years.
The one and only lock is situated near the end of the Welford Arm and the village of Welford.
